Life is getting worse around the world due to climate change. What can be done?

In the early years, Africa was one of the deadliest places for those who wanted to relax. Over the years, from the 19th century to the beginning of the 21st century, the global temperature has increased especially in Africa, where it has increased by 1 degree Celsius overall, while in some places it has been more. Since then, temperatures have continued to rise as a result of many different factors including human-induced climate change.

The magazine rescue.org in its story of March 20, 2023, mentioned the 10 countries in the world that are most at risk due to climate change, seven of which are in Africa. These are Somalia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Chad, South Sudan, the Republic of South Africa, Nigeria and Ethiopia, while the remaining 3 countries are located on the Asian continent namely Syria, Yemen and Afghanistan.

The World Food Program, a branch of the United States of America, on April 21, 2023 released a list of the 8 countries most affected by climate change. Among these countries are South Sudan which is very affected by floods and droughts, Madagascar which is very affected by typhoons, droughts and floods; Pakistan Floods, Somalia Droughts, Sudan Droughts & Floods, Chad Floods, Sahel Droughts, Fires & Floods, Dry Corridor Droughts, Thunderstorms 'storms and floods.

West Africa and South West Africa are expected to be very dry. Climate change is contributing to soil degradation, loss of ecosystems, and the spread of invasive species and pests. Climate change is reducing the production of food, livestock, and fish, and the deterioration of good nutrition. When that happens, hunger strikes.

One of the main causes of climate change is deforestation and burning.

Deforestation has dramatically changed the landscape. 2000 years ago, 80% of Western Europe was covered by forests; today the figure is 34%. In North America, about half of the forest in the eastern part of the continent was cleared from 1600 to 1870 for timber and farmland. China lost large forests 4000 years ago, and now, only 20% of it is forest. Most of the farmland in the world today was once forest.
