A New Gateway to Success: Strategic Partnership Expands German Language Opportunities in Western Rwanda

Access to internationally recognized language certification is becoming increasingly important for students seeking global academic and professional opportunities. In Rwanda, a new partnership is helping make that access easier for learners in the Western Province.

A strategic collaboration has been established between the ECL German Examination Center Rwanda, represented by Der Sprachen Hub – German Language Academy, and the Training Center of Languages (TCL) located in Rugerero, Rubavu. This partnership marks an important step toward expanding high-quality German language education and internationally recognized certification opportunities in the region.

Expanding Opportunities for Learners

The partnership aims to support students from the German language program at TCL Rugerero by providing them with structured guidance and access to internationally accredited examinations.

Through this initiative, current students, alumni, and former participants of the German program will benefit from comprehensive support services, including assistance with exam documentation and registration procedures, professional coaching on the structure and format of the ECL exams, and guidance on effective time management during the examination process.

Participants will also have access to special early-bird discounts for upcoming ECL German exam sessions, making the certification process more accessible.

Ndatimana, who also became the first successful candidate of the C1 ECL German Exam during the February session, highlights the importance of structured preparation:

Key objectives of the collaboration include promoting broader access to knowledge and information, strengthening communication skills, enhancing employability, and expanding international mobility opportunities for learners.

Flower Ackdat, the first successful candidate of the B2 ECL German Exam, encourages other learners to remain committed:

Egide, who became the first successful candidate of the B1 ECL German Exam, shares a similar message:
